The holidays can be really stressful! Participants will learn Tapping/EFT (emotional freedom technique) as a healthy anxiety coping skill that can be used on the go to bring more peace, connection, and joy back into the season!
-Tapping (EFT- emotional freedom technique) is the process of tapping on certain energy centers of the body (similar to acupressure or acupuncture) As you tap you repeat certain phrases of acknowledgement and acceptance of what you are experiencing in the moment. It's a really powerful stress relief technique that offers an opportunity to self-soothe and regulate emotions. When these certain energy points are stimulated, it reduces heart rate and shuts off the fight or flight response. After this class participants will be able to take this tool with them to use whenever they are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, needing to break patterns, phobias, or to temporarily relieve pain.
