Using Mindful-Meditation to Release Tension & Reframe Negativity

Stillness is a path towards peacefulness, however when triggered or churning in a state of reactivity, the challenge of our emotions can seem daunting. The practice of Mindful-Awareness of the senses and witnessing the thoughts provides the opportunity to recognize our emotion, release our tension, and redirect our focus. The key is to start small without pressure or judgment. In Session-4 of this experiential workshop, we will discover that when our attention is trained on our senses vs. unconsciously reacting to our environment, we may learn more about our perceptions that fuel our emotional state. In other words, when we become still, we have a greater capacity to be compassionate to our tension, the ability to release it, and the opportunity for a better outlook in the present moment.
It is advantageous to enroll in all four sessions to receive a greater understanding and absorption of the Mindfulness methods, however a single session can be beneficial.

Attendees will learn: Mindful-Awareness of the Senses, Using the Breath and Imagery to Decrease Emotional and Physical Tension, Creating Space to Transform Thinking, Exploring Goals for Positive Outcomes, Reframing Stressful Thoughts into Supportive Thoughts
