What is your stress-style when experiencing a triggering event? Do you react outwardly by yelling or throwing things, or gear your efforts instead to hide your feelings? If your reactions are automatic and unconscious, it can accumulate into tension that numbs your awareness and compromises your physical and mental health. In Session-1 of this experiential workshop, you will begin to learn how to support yourself when emotionally flooded, by using Mindful-Awareness to decrease anxiety and awaken consciousness.
It is advantageous to enroll in all four sessions to receive a greater understanding and absorption of the Mindfulness methods, however a single session can be beneficial.
Attendees will learn:
How Your Thoughts Affect You Both Physically and Emotionally, Explore Your Emotional Triggers that Contribute to Physical Tension, Understand Which Thoughts Lead to Stressful Behaviors, Mindfulness Methods of Sensory Awareness to Soothe the Mind and Calm the Emotions
