Pilates consists of low-impact flexibility, strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. Try Pilates if you enjoy yoga but need a more intense core workout.
Participants will need a mat, water to drink, hand towel and a good amount of space around them so they do not bump into other people. They can bring (if they have or want) a ball the size of their hand and Theraband but it is not necessary.
