All classes are 30 minutes with an intro, guided practice, and Q&A. Suitable for both beginners and expert meditators. Pricing is per day, so please book this listing 8 times for the 8 days (ideally one per week) that work for you.
Week 1: Basic science and mindfulness of the breath
Week 2: Relaxing the body through the body scan
Week 3: Talk about mindful walking, eating, and how we can bring mindfulness into everyday activities. Then practice Mindfulness and non judgement of sensations and sounds.
Week 4: Loving-Kindness (Metta) for ourselves. This powerful practice helps cultivate compassion and care for ourselves . Part creative Visualization, part repeating phrases over and over. This practice also helps relieve stress, anxiety, and promotes more positive ways of relating to ourselves.
Week 5: Loving-Kindness (Metta) for all beings. Taking the practice from week 3 and applying it to all beings in our lives. This is a beautiful reminder how we are all so deeply interconnected in our desire to be loved, happy, and to avoid suffering. This tool can also help us relieve feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Week 6: The Mountain Meditation. This creative visualization is a reminder of our inner strength in the face of difficulties and change and shows us how we can show up for challenges in life as the peaceful observer.
Week 7: Compassion Practice. Part creative visualization and repeating loving phrases we cultivate compassion for our loved ones and expand that out to the world.
Week 8: Sound Meditation (Sound Bath) Relax and enjoy with eyes closed as you allow the different sounds, vibrations, to take you on a blissful journey.
