Pranayama Practice

Pranayama means "directing of life force energy", or in other words, breathing intentionally. Our breath keeps us alive and when we start to manipulate it on purpose, it can cause drastic changes to our state of mind, our nervous system, and feelings of peace and calm.

In this session, we'll talk about the benefits of pranayama and practice different types of breathing that can be used while moving through a yoga practice, sitting still, and in moments of stress, anxiety, or emotional duress.
