So many people say "I can't meditate." In this presentation, participants will learn basic mindfulness and then practice using visualization and breath to calm, vitalize and ground. They will experience a variety of ways to calm and clear their minds and soften the stress in their body using visualizations, deep choreographed breath and mindfulness.
Participants will also have the option to learn simple standing movements that remove stress from the body as well. Focused on creating an accessible practice for beginners, this will be something everyone will enjoy.
Attendees Will Learn
-Ways to use the power of the visual mind to shift from stress to calm focus.
-Several Breathing techniques to relax and increase the efficiency of visualization
-Identify their personal "Warning Signs' that tension and stress are building and when to de-stress.
-Easy movements (and even sounds) that quickly dump tension in a fun way
-Invisible ways to release tension and re-center in public or in meetings
About This Speaker
Miranda is a senior Instructor of an international Qigong and meditation lineage, with a Master's degree in medical Qigong and Level 3 Master of Usui Reiki. She brings extensive training, practice and teaching experience, along with compassion, humor and intelligence to her teaching, coaching and energetic body work.
