Lack of diversity and gender equity are often thought of as a “pipeline problem”. The real problem, however boils down to implicit or unconscious bias. Mindfulness techniques have the ability to throw a light on unconscious behaviors and biases in a gentle, yet powerful way. This approach goes beyond intellectually processing information and learning right/wrong behavior, into enabling leaders to create a fresh new perspective in hiring, training and promoting women and people of color.
Attendees Will Learn
-How and when key concepts and biases develop • a powerful mindfulness technique, creating a new mind-script to see others as equals
-How to create safe, non-judgmental and supportive spaces
-To take these inner shifts into outer practices and policies
