This interactive workshop will include a discussion on emotional intelligence and its four components: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and social skills. This workshop will teach how mindfulness can aid in developing emotional intelligence. Incorporating mindfulness exercises, an EQ self-assessment, movie clips and life examples, participants will gain a better understanding of emotions and learn simple strategies to improve their EQ.

-Their current level of emotional intelligence
-Recognize the five core emotions that influence your level of emotional intelligence
-Strategies to cope with prominent emotions that affect our ability to self-manage
-3 strategies to improve emotional intelligence based on results of EQ self-assessments and needs of the group
About this Speaker
Victoria is a wellness Psychotherapist bringing 15 years of psychotherapy practice to her work. She is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of Social Work, completed NYU’s Institute for Psychoanalytic Education, Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy program, has certifications in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Integrative Nutritional Health Coaching and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. She is best known for highlighting the adaptability of people; helping them improve their self-awareness by integrating psychotherapy, science and mindfulness meditation.
