Defining Physical Activity, Exercise, and Physical Fitness

This presentation is designed to promote a greater understanding of the concepts around exercise physiology, physical activity and exercise and how they relate to an individual's overall health.

Attendees will learn: Health-related components of fitness, principles of training, and current guidelines for exercise
About this speaker: Chenel has a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and is working on becoming an ACE certified Health Coach. She has been in the health industry for the past 17 years. Chenel is a certified Yoga Fit and group fitness instructor. She has extensive experience in workplace wellness, health promotion and incentives. Chenel is currently a population health coach for Franciscan Health Systems where she works on a care team of physicians, pharmacist, and clinic menta health professionals to provide care for populations affected by chronic diseases. Chenel's goal is to connect with thought leaders who are concerned about the overall health and well-being of their organization.
