Ashtanga Yoga is a style of yoga that is energetic; synchronizing breath with rigorous movements consisting of three series of postures: primary, secondary, and advanced. As the class progresses, the postures in the series, become more complex.
Beginners are encouraged to participate - just let your teacher know you are new to Ashtanga and they will assist you with modifications.
