Core Strength Yoga Class

The core is a group of muscles that stabilizes and controls the pelvis and spine (and therefore influences the legs and upper body). Core strength is less about power and more about the subtleties of being able to maintain the body in ideal postures — to unload the joints and promote ease of movement.

Mondays, 5-6pm
Minimum needed: 3 sign ups. Classes with less than 3 people are subject to cancellation. No refunds will be given within 48 hours of the start of the class.

Provider's Education: Shelby trained at The School of American Ballet before dancing professionally for The Royal Danish Ballet and The Boston Ballet, her career as a ballerina spanning 7 years. In 2016, she retired from the stage to pursue a higher education at Columbia University, earning a BA in Psychology, magna cum laude. She has since received multiple RYT certifications to guide Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga.
