Tai Chi for Diabetes

Private sessions for individuals or groups with certified instructor. Suitable for any age or ability. Tai Chi for Diabetes was developed by the internationally acclaimed Tai Chi for Health Institute to help manage and reduce some of the symptoms of diabetes and help prevent development of some of these symptoms. Developed by a team of medical doctors and tai chi exporters, Tai Chi for Diabetes works for those willing to learn the routine.

Each session includes gentle qigong warm-ups, review of the TCD form, detailing movements in sequence and cool downs. “Tai chi is moving medication” according to Harvard Health and billions of practitioners throughout the centuries would agree.

Your personal instructor, Lea, has a true passion for tai chi as a mindbody health system. She has been a daily practitioner for over 25 years and is walking testimony to how well tai chi balances mind, body and spirit to create better overall health and well-being. Lea teaches a diverse array of qigong, tai chi and their accompanying meditations, not just TCD. The lessons are fun, personal and directed towards your goals. Why exercise hard when you can exercise smart with the ancient wisdom of tai chi?
